See, this is one reason I love that man...

Joseph, reading, originally uploaded by Cathy (Kate) Johnson.

...he sent me this as a Solstice gift: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aCccaotpj90

It couldn't be more perfect. Let others have the diamonds and cars--I'll take a man with this kind of heart, any day.

WOW

Kate -- this brings tears to my eyes ... wondrous!

Lin

Re: WOW

Sweetie, it took me about a half an hour to stop crying!
I am yours...
My joy, my gift, my delight...
:::sigh::::
That is just so beautiful. You truly deserve a man like Joseph! He's a treasure, that's for sure (mostly because he knows what a treasure YOU are!)!
hugs to both of you!
No, sweet thing, mostly because he is who he is. And thank you, hugs are GOOD.

You are truly soul mates
and not many have what you
share together.
I am so happy that you
have found each other.
Annie
We are, Annie, and thank you for the good wishes--we've been truly fortunate!
Lovely! It's so nice to see someone else happy and in love, too.

Also, the cadmium red (or similar shade) as the underpainting... gorgeous!
Thanks, Miss Aisling--I know you've got a wonderful relationship too, and it makes me smile! (I can't remember what that color was called--it's an acrylic and it's got an unexpected name...)

This is just masterful, this drawing. It really couldn't be more powerful and yet tender, too. It leaves me in awe of your talent. Again.
You and Joseph are obviously a great couple, Miss Kate.
Xoox,
Laura
You're such a sweetheart, Miss Laura! I have a wonderful model, you know...

And yes, I'm very glad we found eachother...

XOXO
Kate

Oh Kate how right you are - and what a loving sketch with the rich red background, you return the love 10 fold.
He says he wishes he could draw me half as well as I do him...but he shows his love in so many ways, I don't need that.
No, what I said was I wish I LOOKED half as good as you draw me! *GG*
Goofball. You do, you look better, and that isn't what you said, anyway. Oh God, is this our first argument?? :-)
Is too what I said, TURNBUTTON! *GG*

And you know we never argue... *dls*
You may have said that TOO, but you also said the other, so there, nanny-nanny-poo-poo!

DO TOO! *gg*

Besides, they can look right at the icon and see I haven't really nailed it yet...

I think you nailed it pretty well. Sometimes drawings capture the soul better than photographs, anyway. :)
Well, you're right there...and thank you!
