What a lovely thing to wake up to!

I'm not entirely sure how you link to someone else's journal entry, so I hope this does it...found Eliza's review of my new book, Creating Nature in Watercolor, on her journal this morning! (I feel like Sally Field--"she LIKES it, she really LIKES it!" *G*)

Eliza's [info]moderngypsy here on Live Journal, and always a lot of fun to read in addition to being a wonderfully talented artist. (I own one of her collages, and love it!)

Thanks, Eliza!

The book is here:

Isn't it wonderful!! I just read it and left a comment. Your book and YOU are just the absolute best, best, best!

Awwwwwwwwwww! Thank you! I have been very blessed in my friends, and that includes YOU, sweet thing.

XOXO right back at you!

Congratulations!

You only needed this bit for the link:

http://moderngypsy.livejournal.com/1623361.html

Which is done by typing in:

<a href="http://moderngypsy.livejournal.com/1623361.html">http://moderngypsy.livejournal.com/1623361.html</a>

I hope that helps!

Re: Congratulations!

Oh, so that DOES have the quotation marks...thank you!

Re: Congratulations!

No worries! You only have to ask! I used to do this for a living... ;-p

...< a href=http://moderngypsy.livejournal.com/1623361.html?view=12469825#t12469825> is the link, but to make it look perfect you need to add exactly what you want the reference to say. So add Modern Gypsy</a> to the end of it like this
< a href=http://moderngypsy.livejournal.com/1623361.html?view=12469825#t12469825>Modern Gypsy</a> taking out my blank spaces at the beginning after the < sign

Arggg this stuff is hard to explain because when you write the right code it automatically makes it a link!

Thank you! And yes, I know how complex it is, since you can't demonstrate without it suddenly happening! (If THAT makes any sense!*G*) I thought it needed " marks in there somewhere...siiiigh. I need more practice!
