Look what got finished! The Watercolor CD, originally uploaded by Cathy (Kate) Johnson.

And so is the Drawing and Sketching workshop CD...it would have been lovely to get them both done in time for Christmas, but life gets in the way sometimes...

They're both based on my online classes, edited and expanded somewhat with a few extra articles in each CD. (I'm a big fan of "value-added," I guess!)

Working on the one for the upcoming watercolor pencil class, but thought since I have a waiting list for both of the other classes and only so much time, I'd offer these for now.

I'm also moving the classes to my own website, as mentioned before, and hoping the CDs will be easier for some who had trouble downloading the PDF files--or who just prefer not to download from the 'net. No viruses on a CD!

Oh, Cathy, you are such an inspiration! Every time I see what you have accomplished, it is such a reflection to me of what I could/should be trying to do.

Congratulations! And it does look fabulous! And these are out just in time for Valentine's presents! Or, better yet, New Year's presents!

Thank you, dear friend! I wish I could get everyone to realize that I don't do videos! Wish I did, but I can't. Don't have the technology, don't have the money. So I always say data CDs, PDF format, etc., but a couple of people have still been disappointed there were no video demos. (Just got one this morning...siiiigh.)

I need to work today, haven't gotten much done the last couple of days, and the new class is looming! I need the CD done in time for people to get it, and I'm going to visit Joseph in January for a few days. It's nuts!

With gratitude...

Without knowing it, you have kept me company as I have sat by the bedside of my 85 -year-old father after he had a stroke on Dec 26. I had ordered 8 of your CD's earlier this year and rarely found time to study them. Gifts of time come in strange packages and for the past several days I have been "unwrapping" images at a slow & mindful pace. Nature itself is such a poignant reminder of the importance of being still and paying attention...Your rendering & interpretation of nature has been inspiring, calming and healing. Sometimes we help others in ways of which we are unaware. Thank you so much.
