Playing with toned paper again, in my journal--acrylic in Payne's Grey brushed onto the page and allowed to dry, then sketching Ragsie in chalk, white Prismacolor pencil, and a touch of liquid paper for the sparkle in her eye.

For some reason the white gel pen wouldn't work on the acrylic, but silver did...

Thank you! I've always enjoyed working on toned paper--it's like magic, pulling the image out in a more 3-D form than usual.
love the colored ground--makes rags look pettable. my fingers want to explore that fur!
